Brilliant service, even helped me move a bed🙂Posted on Georgie AlexanderTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had our survey done, by Phil. He was very knowledgeable in the field, and walked us through the solutions we need to take. Our treatment was carried out by Craig, who took special care of all household items, whilst carrying out the treatment. Craig made sure to explain the best methods of cleaning the treatment. Would highly recommend! Thank youPosted on Leah Warner-TedaldiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had Kai and Sam come to do isotherm insulation on our walls. They were great, really upbeat and friendly. They worked really hard and left the place so tidy. The work looks good so far! Review is done on the day of completion Update: we had a lot of trouble with this company in the end. The plastering work ended up needing to be redone. It took 6 weeks for it to be redone and we were left with a completely unusable room and really bad communication. There were so many times when I rang through to the switchboard and escalated matters for nothing to happen. We felt totally helpless and stranded. I have since tried to get through to their complaints team to no avail. We had the isotherm sheeting fixed which was then skimmed over the top. Once this had set you could quite easily push it in with your finger, denting it (see pic of finger dents). The company surveyor (who we asked to be sent round) said that this was expected and how the isotherm works (I would not recommend!) Luckily they sent a plasterer round to fix it, and he said the whole thing (isotherm and all) needed to be redone, and he redid it all. It now looks really good and doesn’t dent with your finger. TBH I wouldn’t recommend this company, I found them impossible to get in touch with and just gatekept at a switchboard and left us in a really vulnerable position and took 6 weeks to fix it.Posted on Monika NiebojTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had John and Ron at my house this morning fitting a new damp course. They were both friendly and professional. They turned up at my property on time, did a very neat job, explained everything that they were going to do and cleaned up after they had finished.Posted on James WaltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. During the survey, we will:

- Inspect the condition of the wall cavity using specialist borescope equipment, allowing our surveyors to look inside the walls accurately while keeping disruption to your home to an absolute minimum.

Cavity Wall Insulation Extraction in Walsall
Defective or waterlogged cavity wall insulation can trap moisture within the walls of your Walsall home and may lead to damp problems developing inside the property.
These issues can occur when insulation has been poorly installed in the past or when moisture has gradually entered the cavity over time. Walsall properties are regularly exposed to wet weather and changing seasonal conditions across the West Midlands, which can increase the chances of moisture finding its way into wall cavities, particularly in older homes.
Cavity Wall Insulation Extraction
Older or poorly installed cavity wall insulation can lead to several issues within your Walsall home, including damp patches appearing on internal walls, mould developing in affected areas and a noticeable reduction in overall energy efficiency.
Solution: Our cavity wall insulation extraction service in Walsall carefully removes defective or waterlogged insulation materials from within the cavity. Once the damaged insulation has been fully removed, the cavity wall is able to function as it should again, allowing moisture to escape more effectively and helping to reduce the risk of further damp related problems developing inside the property.

Does cavity wall insulation cause damp problems?
When installed correctly in a suitable property, cavity wall insulation should not cause damp problems. Before any installation takes place, our team at Home Energy Save GB carries out a full survey of the property’s cavity walls. This inspection helps identify existing moisture issues, structural defects or debris within the cavity. If any problems are found, we will recommend the appropriate solution before insulation is installed. Ensuring the cavity walls are in the right condition is essential for preventing damp related issues.
Will the installation damage the outside of my property?
Cavity wall insulation installation involves drilling small holes into the mortar joints of the external brickwork. These holes are used to inject the insulation material into the cavity. Once the installation is complete, the holes are carefully filled with colour matched mortar so they blend in with the surrounding brickwork. Our experienced installation team works carefully to ensure the finish is neat and discreet. For most properties in Walsall, the small drill holes become barely noticeable once the work has been completed.
Do you need access inside the property during installation?
In most cases, the installation work is carried out from outside the property. Our team drills small holes into the external walls and injects insulation material into the cavity using specialist equipment. Because the process is completed externally, disruption inside the home is usually very limited. Occasionally we may need brief internal access for inspection purposes during the survey stage, but the installation itself is normally completed entirely from the outside of the property.
What signs suggest my home could benefit from cavity wall insulation?
There are several signs that a property may benefit from cavity wall insulation. These can include cold internal walls, rooms that lose heat quickly, rising heating costs or uneven temperatures between different areas of the home. Some homeowners in Walsall also notice that their property feels colder during winter months despite regular heating. A professional survey can confirm whether the cavity walls are currently empty and suitable for insulation, helping you decide if installation would improve comfort and efficiency.
Can cavity wall insulation help improve my property’s energy efficiency rating?
Installing cavity wall insulation can contribute to improving a property’s overall energy efficiency rating. By reducing heat loss through the external walls, insulation helps the home retain warmth more effectively. This can positively influence energy performance assessments such as EPC ratings. Many homeowners in Walsall choose cavity wall insulation as a way to improve their home’s energy performance while also enhancing comfort during colder months.
