He was very knowledgeable in the field, and walked us through the solutions we need to take. Our treatment was carried out by Craig, who took special care of all household items, whilst carrying out the treatment. Craig made sure to explain the best methods of cleaning the treatment. Would highly recommend! Thank youPosted on Leah Warner-TedaldiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had Kai and Sam come to do isotherm insulation on our walls. They were great, really upbeat and friendly. They worked really hard and left the place so tidy. The work looks good so far! Review is done on the day of completion Update: we had a lot of trouble with this company in the end. The plastering work ended up needing to be redone. It took 6 weeks for it to be redone and we were left with a completely unusable room and really bad communication. There were so many times when I rang through to the switchboard and escalated matters for nothing to happen. We felt totally helpless and stranded. I have since tried to get through to their complaints team to no avail. We had the isotherm sheeting fixed which was then skimmed over the top. Once this had set you could quite easily push it in with your finger, denting it (see pic of finger dents). The company surveyor (who we asked to be sent round) said that this was expected and how the isotherm works (I would not recommend!) Luckily they sent a plasterer round to fix it, and he said the whole thing (isotherm and all) needed to be redone, and he redid it all. It now looks really good and doesn’t dent with your finger. TBH I wouldn’t recommend this company, I found them impossible to get in touch with and just gatekept at a switchboard and left us in a really vulnerable position and took 6 weeks to fix it.Posted on Monika NiebojTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They turned up at my property on time, did a very neat job, explained everything that they were going to do and cleaned up after they had finished.Posted on James WaltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What is Damp Proofing?
Damp proofing protects a property from unwanted moisture entering through walls, floors or roofing. It uses specialist treatments such as damp proof membranes, chemical injections or sealants to control rising damp, penetrating damp and condensation.
For homeowners in Coventry, this is particularly important in older terraces and post war housing exposed to the Midlands climate. A professionally installed system protects the building’s structure, prevents damage to plaster and timber, and reduces the risk of mould, helping to maintain a healthier home and its long term value.

Rising Damp Solutions In Coventry
Rising damp is usually treated by installing a new chemical damp proof course, often through the injection of a silicone based solution into the affected walls. Where necessary, any salt contaminated or damaged plaster is removed and replaced with specialist renovating plaster or a cavity wall membrane system designed to manage moisture effectively.
Although most homes in the UK were built with a damp proof course, problems can arise if it was incorrectly installed, has deteriorated over time, or if external ground levels in areas of Coventry sit too high and allow moisture to bridge the barrier.
All of our rising damp treatments are backed by a 25 year guarantee, providing dependable, long term protection for your home.

Penetrating Damp Solutions in Coventry
Noticed mould growth, damp patches or staining on your walls or ceilings? These are often signs of penetrating damp, which occurs when water makes its way into the property from outside.
One of our qualified surveyors will carry out a detailed inspection of your Coventry home to identify the source of the problem and recommend the most appropriate solution. Treatment may include removing affected materials, fitting a waterproof membrane to assist the drying process, and addressing external defects such as damaged brickwork, pointing or roofing.
All penetrating damp treatments are supported by a 25 year guarantee, giving you confidence that your home has lasting protection.
What to Expect From Our FREE Damp Survey
One of our experienced surveyors will arrange a visit to your Coventry home at a time that suits you.
Using advanced diagnostic equipment, they will complete a comprehensive damp survey to identify any concerns and clearly explain the cause, the impact on your property and the most effective way to resolve them. This survey is provided completely free of charge.
Some of the recommended treatments may also improve your home’s energy efficiency, which is why certain qualifying works can benefit from a reduced rate of VAT under HMRC guidelines.
How do I know if my Coventry home has a damp problem?
Damp proofing is a way of preventing moisture from entering your property through the walls, floors or roof. Moisture can lead to a range of problems including structural damage, timber decay, mould growth, and damage to internal finishes like plaster and paint. By installing damp proofing measures, such as a chemical damp proof course or waterproof membranes, you protect your home from long-term moisture damage. In a city like Liverpool, where many properties are older and more likely to experience damp issues, damp proofing is particularly important for maintaining a safe, healthy living environment.
What causes rising damp in homes?
Rising damp occurs when moisture travels upward through brickwork from the ground. This usually happens when an existing damp proof course has failed, deteriorated or become bridged by high external ground levels. In some Coventry homes, ageing materials or previous poor workmanship can contribute to the issue. We install modern chemical damp proof courses that create a long lasting moisture barrier and prevent further water ingress.
How long does damp proofing treatment last?
When installed correctly, a modern damp proof course should last for decades. We provide guarantees of up to 25 years because we use proven systems and follow strict installation standards. Longevity depends on proper diagnosis and professional application, which is why experience matters. Our team ensures each Coventry property receives a tailored treatment designed for lasting protection rather than short term improvement.
What is included in a free damp survey?
Our free damp survey includes a full inspection of internal and external areas, moisture readings, identification of contributing factors and clear professional advice. We assess ventilation, ground levels, brickwork condition and structural elements. After the visit, you receive a detailed report explaining the issue and recommended solutions. This gives Coventry homeowners complete clarity before proceeding with any treatment.
Do all homes in Coventry have a damp proof course?
Most properties built after 1875 were constructed with a damp proof course. However, older installations can fail or become ineffective over time. In some cases, external alterations or raised ground levels can bridge the original barrier. During our survey, we check whether a damp proof course is present and functioning correctly before recommending appropriate treatment.
